The Day
Join us for a full-day immersive experience celebrating the wild flavours and living traditions of the South Downs. We’ll begin with a guided foraging walk led by our knowledgeable team, exploring hedgerows, meadows and woodland edges to discover the rich variety of local edible plants, herbs and fruits. You’ll learn how to safely identify, harvest and use these seasonal plants.
After our walk, we’ll return to the fermentary for a freshly cooked, nourishing lunch, showcasing some of the wild and foraged plants we’ve explored that morning. Prepared with fresh ingredients and paired with Old Tree Brewery drinks; giving a true taste of place.
Following lunch we'll dive into a hands-on cordial-making workshop. Using the fruits and herbs we’ve gathered – along with locally picked rosehips – you’ll create your own vibrant, seasonal cordial to take home.
We’ll finish the day with a guided tasting of Old Tree Brewery’s living drinks…
