Hedgerow Wine Workshop at Old Tree Brewery
About the Event
Join us for our afternoon workshop making a Traditional British Country wine, at our brewery in Glynde, nestled in the Sussex countryside. With Iside we will explore what a hedgerow wine is, then brew and craft your very own batch of hedgerow wine – a traditional, alcoholic, wild beverage made from the fruits or flowers of the countryside. Hedgerow wine is typically made from wild and foraged flowers, fruits and leaves, rosehips, and berries, rather than grapes.
This workshop blends nature connection, community, and craft into one vibrant day. You will prepare a 5l demi-john in the workshop, which will be left in the Brewery until it's ready. Invite your friends and family to join in this wonderful workshop.
